Logo YoungStærYoungStær™ (YS) is a web-based community focusing on teenager. The word YoungStær™ rooted from the combination of three powerful, concise words:
• Youngster – a word that can be used interchangeably with “teenager”. What's more, it suits YoungSær™'s target group; youngster.
• Star – a simple four-letter word which has a vast, meaningful definition which precisely define what YoungStær™ is all about. We acknowledge teenager as a group of people who has potential as high and miraculous as star.
• Stær – the Dutch name of starling, a small to medium-sized passerine bird in the family Sturnidae. Starling is YoungStær™'s mascot, as starling is known is be active, socially interactive and physically medium like teenager.
The project is supported by Kelab Remaja HALUAN (MYH), a social club for teenagers.
Be PatientMany people easily burst into anger. They are controlled by rage for a moment. In that moment, their thinking is irrational and their blood pressure rocketed. It is very hard to calm a man possessed by fury what more to give advice such as “Please calm down my friend”.
